Aaron TennantP-005
Has yet to play in Blendos. Traveling from the Utica area. Previously played college basketball. From what I have heard, a very good guard and a great overall player. Will bring experience.
Big Blend Association
Fall started as a serpentine draft — ten captains, conferences, contracts, a cap, and a free-agent wire. It later went BYOT, came back as a draft, and is BYOT again. Draft results are the picks we still have. 2017 and 2019 opening clubs are who played after the draft when the pick sheet did not survive.
Pre-draft report
The original sheet was A–Z, not a ranking. Badges are the 2017 Fall draft tags (line b.). They show on a player card as Draft League Badges when that name has any.
2017 Blendos Fall Draft Player Analysis
Has yet to play in Blendos. Traveling from the Utica area. Previously played college basketball. From what I have heard, a very good guard and a great overall player. Will bring experience.
Draft League Badges
Adrian has ranked in the top 10 in rebounding in past B league seasons. He consistently shows up for games and will work as a member of a team.
Draft League Badges
Aidan comes off his rookie B league year. He has shown that he can shoot the ball from 3 but has limited in-game Blendos experience. Needs to work on being aggressive and not letting defenders take him out of the game.
Draft League Badges
Younger player striving to get better. Coming off his B league debut — team finished last, but he competed and rose to the occasion in clutch spots.
Draft League Badges
Debut in winter, made a name in spring. Smaller guard who doesn’t shy away from attacking the rim and will shoot from anywhere. Great rebounder, can play the entire game. Needs to work on making teammates better.
Draft League Badges
Arie has shown glimpses of greatness this summer. He started out with his rookie debut in the B league and soon got called up to help an A league team and had an immediate impact. A good big man with solid post moves. Needs to work more on basketball IQ and endurance.
Draft League Badges
When I saw Ben play for the first time this summer I could immediately see the skill and experience — inside or outside. On a team full of young players he stepped up to lead them while also sacrificing minutes for chemistry. Showed up big in the B league playoffs but said he was out of shape. A couple of clutch shots away from eliminating the soon-to-be champions, State Farm.
Draft League Badges
Brad — Mr. Feik — is a veteran in better shape than most 20-year-olds. He consistently shows up and will run the entire game. Can play in the post but has a very consistent mid-range jumper. Doesn’t shy away from defense.
From what I hear he's a 6'1 forward who can catch and shoot and is very athletic.
Draft League Badges
Bryce will be a captain this year and will get his shots up. Competitive and wants to win. Gaining confidence from three, still takes bad shots at times.
Draft League Badges
Came off the bench for monster games against tough matchups. Plays PF and will try his best to play defense the whole game.
Won ROTY in 2015 B then stayed constant. Energy and hustle. No problem stepping up as a leader. Needs court vision and reading the defense to pass to the perimeter.
Draft League Badges
Coming off a disappointing A season bringing outside talent in. Led A in 3PM and won Sharpshooter; won B MVP and showed up big in the semis vs Irish Green. Heartbreaking B championship loss to Orange (Zimmer) after going 3-for-3 from three — players wondered why he didn’t shoot in the second half. Changing the philosophy: he is going to shoot the ball. Top 10 in assists in both leagues, so this does not mean he won’t pass. If you get drafted here, be ready to run and gun.
Draft League Badges
Charles is very crafty getting to the rim. Undersized but creates advantages. Will seek assists if teammates can score.
Draft League Badges
Chris is one of the top scorers in the draft. He can heat up at any moment, especially from behind the arc. Passing game lacks. Defense is another area to improve — though he has been praised as a top defender, and his competitiveness should get him there.
Draft League Badges
Chris is coming off his rookie Blendos debut in the B league. Joined a free-agent team that needed him. Early summer he was a top scorer with multiple 30-point nights. Can bang in the paint and knock down jumpers.
Varsity basketball experience. Said to be able to run and jump with the best of them. Chris is 6 ft.
Draft League Badges
Cody is a typical team leader. Always calm, which lets teammates stay calm. Comfortable bringing the ball up. Rebounds well at the guard spot, moves the ball, scores when needed. Sometimes takes questionable shots.
Draft League Badges
Younger brother of Caleb. Still in HS and very talented. Showed up big in the B league playoffs this year.
Draft League Badges
Colin is a 3-point threat from anywhere, though he sometimes takes difficult shots or finds himself in a slump. Will not shy away from the paint. Passionate, lights-out FT shooter.
Draft League Badges
Corey is coming off his Blendos debut this spring running with Hartwick teammates. Didn’t make many games, but he was a leader and the team trusted him to shoot. Final game of the year he shot poorly — playoffs the day after Oh Fest.
Draft League Badges
Zimmer is the best finisher in the league and one of the top scorers. Left-handed — I repeat, left-handed — and will constantly go left. Floater, layup, or drawing a foul, he finds a way. A ref once described him as the only person who can score 30 without shooting a 3. Great attitude. If you get drafted by Team Zimmer, be prepared to run and win games.
I have yet to meet Dan but he is familiar with several Blendos players and is coming from the South Kortright area.
Listed on the 2017 board.
Draft League Badges
Danny is a great teammate and will never cause internal problems. Not selfish. Finishes around the rim, can knock down jumpers, great court vision, always willing to feed the hot hand.
Draft League Badges
Daniel will compete in his first Blendos league. The Stamford rising star has a great work ethic. Big for a guard and can get to the rim. Needs to improve shooting and aggression.
Draft League Badges
Danny has minimal experience but has been improving. Consistently shows up and communicates. Needs smarter shots and overall IQ — he will try his hardest and leave it on the floor.
Draft League Badges
Dave is a Blendos veteran, hardly ever missing a season. Tremendous experience and a huge passion for the game. About 6'4, gets rebounds, consistently knocks down low-post jumpers.
Draft League Badges
Dave has only played A league and co-ed, but he runs more than most as a veteran. Great team player. Knack for running the floor, grabbing rebounds, boxing out.
Draft League Badges
Derek has evolved more into a shooter. Loves the three; as a bigger guy he can also play solid defense. Previously a B league DPOY candidate. Went from team star to accepting a role in order to win. Will show up and compete.
Listed on the 2017 board with a full line of recent seasons.
Donny is one of the biggest, strongest guys in the league. Rebounds with the best of them and sets a pick that reminds you he is there. Came off the bench en route to the 2017 spring championship. Knows he can score; sometimes takes bad shots. Active rebounder.
Draft League Badges
Great personality. Minimal experience but works tirelessly and accepts his role. Can heat up from three; main strength is defense. Recruits from Stamford/Roxbury. If you get drafted by Doug, be unselfish and leave it on the floor.
Draft League Badges
Dylan is known for his great passes. Moves the ball well and can create. Can lock up an offensive threat. Can score when the team needs a bucket. Lacks aggression but is capable of turning a game with a hesitation crossover and a finish with either hand.
Draft League Badges
Dylan is very crafty and can run the entire game. Likes to shoot the ball but also takes some very questionable shots.
Draft League Badges
Eddie is one of the best shooters in this year’s draft. Defenses have to shift his way because he is lethal behind the arc. Rarely drives, but can use size to post a smaller defender.
Draft League Badges
Emmy is a threat on any team. Knows his role. Competitive with an edge. Gets to the rim, finishes, knocks down catch-and-shoot jumpers, hits the open man. Great rebounder at the forward spot.
Veteran. Court awareness, pride in finding the open man. Will shoot when open but is looking to be unselfish. Willing to come off the bench.
Draft League Badges
Coming off a good spring debut. One of the top scorers on his team and proved he could shoot the 3 with the best of them. Over 6 ft, rebounds, good IQ. Played at SUNY Cobleskill.
Volume shooter. Will take a bunch of threes — sometimes they fall, sometimes he slumps. Great team player, consistently shows up, enjoys defense.
Draft League Badges
George is a shooter from anywhere on the floor but also likes to drive for a floater. Impact depends on the roster — top scorer in winter with limited other scorers; in spring he came off the bench or passed out of shots. Did not play this summer but has been working out and lost a ton of weight.
Draft League Badges
One of the youngest players in the draft and still believed to be one of the better ones. Led an A league team all summer against older, more experienced players.
Great IQ. Unselfish. Does the little things. Came late to a summer game and went 100% on three late attempts in overtime with huge defensive stands.
Draft League Badges
The Milford grad will participate in his first Blendos league. In high school he showed the ability to knock down jumpers behind the arc.
Never played the men’s leagues but debuted in summer co-ed. Could score attacking or from three. Brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm.
Emerged into one of the better 3-point shooters. Won most improved in winter 2016 and has been a vital part of teams.
Draft League Badges
Joe is the brother of Christian Cooper. A bigger guy who wants to join to run and get in shape. No problem being a team’s big. Committed to travel almost an hour one way.
Played a vital role as a big for Sport Grey. Great position for rebounds and put-back points.
Solid defender who can see the floor. Likes to get to the basket but will settle for threes. Undersized big who will bang in the paint. Two Summer B titles — 2014 and 2017.
Bubba can run the floor the entire game and has crafty moves. Demands the best out of teammates and will be vocal. Will also sacrifice minutes if teammates are performing better.

Draft League Badges
Khysani can score pretty well. Lacks a consistent jumper but works on it. Handles well, sometimes dribbles too much. Good passer who is still learning when. Surprises opponents with hustle for steals, rebounds, and loose balls.
Returning from a hiatus. Once a B captain of a talented club that forfeited a bunch. Championship DNA from Sidney HS. Great rebounder, can run the floor, great IQ. Looking to get back in shape.
Played for multiple A teams. Dominant scorer — shooting or getting to the rim. Excels in run-and-gun. This summer came off the bench with Red. Needs to get back into running form.
Averaged a double-double. Can score in the post and bring the ball up the floor.
Draft League Badges
Minimal scouting report, but he will compete. Rugged, plays with intensity. Can score but will also sacrifice scoring to play solid defense.
Took this summer off to focus on his career. Crafty guard who can shoot and get to the rack. Strong award candidate in past summers.

Draft League Badges
This will be Matt’s Blendos debut. I have scouted around — in short, he is a volume shooter and can shoot with the best of them.
Came with a lot of defensive intensity but struggled on the offensive end. 6 ft or taller, will help on the glass. Doesn’t mind being a team player.
Draft League Badges

White Mike is known for shooting the ball and playing defense. No problem accepting a role, wants to be valued as a contributor.

Listed on the 2017 board.
Draft League Badges
Constant through the years. Originally a captain, now takes whatever role is needed. Intensity. Working on showing up early. Pride in fast, aggressive defense and taking charges.
Making his Blendos debut. From what I’ve heard he is a 6'4 big still in HS.
First Blendos experience outside co-ed. Previously player of the year at Wells College. Dedicated — traveling from Wells.
The infamous Hook Shot Rob. Veteran, consistent captain. Has led the leagues in rebounding multiple times and likes to play the entire game. Will most likely only draft seven so everyone gets minutes. Back in the gym.
Recently graduated Stamford. Major contributor on varsity. Loves to shoot the three. Needs defensive intensity. Will develop into a sound player.
Has taken a hiatus. One of the bigger guys but don’t mistake that for slow — crafty getting to the basket and can heat up from long range.
Multiple seasons, limited basketball experience besides Blendos. Great team player. Needs conditioning. Great low-post moves. Coachable. Doesn’t care whose team — wants to win and contribute.
