Week 5: End of Regular Season

Wednesday, October 7, 2026 · Last regular Sunday · October 4 · Hartwick College

The regular season is over. Eight clubs are in. Five are out. Team Blendos is 8–0. Pink is 7–1. Cam’s is 6–1. McCoy is 6–2. The rest of the field spent Sunday deciding who walks into the Armory and who watches.

The day, in order

4:00 PM · Court A · Hartwick College

Pink 71, Hitchcock (Lime) 53

Pink took the game that decides the 2-seed conversation. Lime had just beaten McCoy a week ago. They did not repeat it.

Jordan Gutierrez 24-13 with 2 blocks. Jo Annan 18, with 6 steals. Stevie Melendez 11-8. Elias Perez led Lime with 11. Ethan Odell and Jesse James had 10 each.

Pink by 18. Not a track meet. A grown-up win. They finish 7–1, best differential in the league at +323, and the stingiest defense on the board.

Cam’s second game, and they needed overtime to win it. Six points. Jade outplayed the projection and still came up short.

Eight of thirteen. Maroon is the 2. Pink is the 3. Maroon beat Pink head to head and played fewer games. Lime has the best differential of the 3–4 group and is the 8. Orange has the same record and is out. Black is the 6. Job Corps is the 7.

Tiebreaker reminder, for the rounds that still need it: if the tied clubs played, the winner of that game takes it. If they have not played and will not play, it is point differential. A three-way circle, where each has beaten one of the others, is points for against points against.

Lines that should be on the wire

  • Ryan Ashline, 28-18-12-6. Triple-double. The slump ended in a 68-point win.
  • Trevor Huntsman, 44-18-5-5-3. Loudest single sheet of the weekend.
  • Tyler Harris, 28-17-8-5-2. Same game.
  • Evan Lane, 9-24 and 11-16. Forty rebounds. The board leader played like it.
  • Alex Little, 10-16 and 20-18. Thirty-four rebounds in a split day.
  • Ben Conklin, 16 then 31-9-6.
  • Nate Cohen, 35 and 7 threes. Season points to 301.
  • Brady Smith, 22-15. Cam Hayes, 17-13-6.
  • Jordan Gutierrez, 24-13. Jo Annan, 18 and 6 steals.
  • Job Corps, three 20-point scorers in the win that put them in.

Grey scored 60 points all day. Black scored none. Those are the two sentences the playoff field has to live with.

Holiday 5-on-5 is Saturday, December 19, at Hartwick. $300 a team, shirts included. Winter 2027 waitlist is open. First the Armory.
